Access to God is the privilege of coming near to the Father through Jesus Christ; forgiven and reconciled, believers may approach God freely and confidently by the Spirit.
The torn veil is the picture: the way into the holiest, once barred, is now opened through the blood of Christ. Believers have boldness to enter, and may come to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find help in time of need. This access is not occasional or earned each time; it is a standing privilege of those who are in Christ, exercised in every prayer.
