Unity is the God-given oneness of His people in Jesus Christ, expressed through a shared faith, a common life, and mutual love.
Christian unity is founded upon the gospel, created by the Holy Spirit, and centered in the lordship of Jesus Christ. It is not the product of organizational agreement, personal preference, or the absence of disagreement, but the shared life of those who have been made one in Christ. Scripture calls believers to preserve this unity through humility, forgiveness, patience, and love, demonstrating to the world the transforming power of the gospel. True unity never requires the compromise of truth, for biblical unity is found in faithful submission to the Word of God.
