Judgment

Judgment is God's righteous evaluation of every person, deed, and motive according to His perfect holiness and justice.

Because God is holy and just, He judges without partiality or error. His judgments are always true, revealing both His justice against sin and His faithfulness to righteousness. Scripture speaks of God's judgments throughout history as well as the final judgment, when every person will stand before Him to give account. Those who are in Christ need not fear condemnation, for He has borne their judgment upon the cross. Yet all believers will give account for their service to Christ, while those who reject Him will face His righteous and eternal judgment.

See in Scripture: Ecclesiastes 12:13–14; Matthew 25:31–46; John 5:22–29; Romans 2:5–11; Romans 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11–15
