Glorification is God’s final work of making believers fully like the risen Christ, completing the new life already given when their bodies are raised beyond death’s power.
What God began in the new birth reaches its completion when this mortal puts on immortality and the believer is conformed fully to the image of the Son. Resurrection names the raising of the body; glorification names the completed transformation of the whole believer into Christ’s likeness.
It is not a reward earned or a different salvation begun at the end. It is God’s promise kept: the risen life already shared with Christ fully expressed in a person beyond sin and death. We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
